Post-it questions:
What do we follow for the teaching of RE?

The 2010 guidance document: Religious education in English Schools: Non-statutory guidance 2010. This document refers to a locally agreed syllabus. I have attached copies of both to this email and added them to the Primary Curriculum 2014 wikispace.

Are there any time constraints on teaching of National Curriculum subjects?

No at present there are no legal requirements for time allocation for individual subjects.

Is there guidance on the amount of time that must be devoted to RE and PSHE?

Not at present. If any guidance is published we will share it with curriculum change leads through the curriculum clusters.

How much detail is needed when publishing the curriculum online?

The wording in the National Curriculum 2014 document is: ‘All schools must publish their school curriculum by subject and academic year online’. This is an area that we will look at in more detail during the curriculum clusters, we will look at a range of examples of how different schools are approaching this.
